URPoint Details
To the north-east of Huntingdon, Broughton, a pleasant village was once the site of the manor house of the abbots of Ramsey, a house of which only the moat now survives.
There are, several interesting houses in and around the village including White Hall Farm and a rather fine Jacobean house with Flemish gables. On the village green stands the ancient lock-up, whilst in the church, above the chancel, is a rather splendid 'Last Judgment' painting.
Social amenities focus on the village hall and modern sports pavilion.
In the centre of the village is the Crown Inn.
