URPoint Details
A thriving golf and fishing resort on the river of the same name. There is magnificent mountain and moor scenery, and sandy bays indent the rocky coast. There are many Pictish remains in the area and six miles north is the Kintradwell broch, a drystone tower used as a fortification by the Picts between BC200 and AD50.
