URPoint Details
The Parsonage was the home of the extraordinary, literary Bronte family from 1820 to 1861.
The rooms are restored to their appearance in the Brontes' day, such as the dining room where Charlotte, Emily and Anne wrote some of the greatest novels in English literature, and the Reverend Patrick Bronte's study where he wrote his sermons and ate meals alone.
Much of the huge collection of Brontes' books, manuscripts, paintings, drawings, costume and personal relics are on display throughout the house.
