A market town where fresh is best. The local markets supply fine produce beautiful fruit and vegetable from the farms surrounding the town.
The 14th century Church of St John the Baptist has some fine Medieval and Tudor tombs and in the carillon a different tune is played every day.
. In the churchyard are two gravestones to two young railway engineers dated 10th November 1840. Thomas Scaife and Joseph Rutherford were killed when a boiler exploded at Bromsgrove Station.
