Breadalbane (Bread-albinn)
This part of Scotland reaches from the Inverness border to the northwest of Perthshire to the basin of the rivers Earn and Forth lying to the south towards Stirling.
The Grampian mountain’s cover most of the area which includes Loch Rannoch and Glen Lyon one of the longest and finest of the Scottish glens.
From the summit of Ben Lawers at 3,984ft the views are magnificent over the tangle of ranges of the Breadalbane hills which include the lofty Forest of Mamlorn group.
