Braunston - Rutland

A rural village with a tiny green with a flourishing lime tree planted in 1897 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The stream which flows into the River Gwash runs through the village towards Rutland Water, the biggest man-made lake in Britain.

All Saints church dates from the 12th century and has some fine medieval wall paintings.
