Bramley - Church of St James

Bramley The Church of St James originally Norman. It has a 17^th century brick west tower, an 18^th century pulpit and west gallery. There are 13^th century wall paintings one showing the murder of Thomas a’Beckett. The famous physicist Lise Meitner is buried in the burial ground next to the church, near the grave of her brother Walter.

It is a Grade I listed building.
