Braemore

Here the roads from Dundonnell and Ullapool meet on their way east towards Inverness. The impressive Falls of Measach in the Corrieshalloch Gorge near Dundonnell can be seen from a narrow and fragile bridge spanning the deep and narrow gorge. The road descending into Ullapool on Loch Broom goes through the beautiful valley of Strath More and to the east in the background are the lofty peaks of Beinn Dearg at 3,547ft and Cona Mheall at 3,200ft and the latter sheltering the wild little Loch Choire Ghranda in its precipitous setting.
