A pretty Ham stone village with a charming pub called the Rose and Crown possibly built by monks as a rest-house in the 15th century, and later used as a malt house, and still retains a great fireplace.
The beautiful 15th century Church of St Mary the Virgin has a tower of Somerset appearance and is quite spectacular when viewed from the west. Inside are many beautifully carved bench-ends, and those near the chancel are quite beautiful. The font is 15th century and is finely carved, there is also Jacobean pulpit and 15th century rood screen
