Car park; toilets; exhibitions and shop. Disabled car park 200 yards from property disabled visitors may be set down outside the castle. Full access is available to castle courtyard and display boards there although uneven in parts the grounds surrounding the castle are wheelchair accessible.
The largest and finest 13th century stone castle in Scotland, much fought over during the Wars of Independence.
Part of the original circular keep survives.
In a beautiful setting overlooking the River Clyde.
