Fully refurbished and restored, the panelled rooms, secret hiding places and pretty gardens lend this 17th century timber-framed hunting lodge a truly romantic character.
King Charles II hid in the house and the nearby Royal Oak after the Battle of Worcester in 1651, to avoid detection by Cromwell's troops.
There is a farmhouse with dairy, farmyard and smithy, and an exhibition in the house.
