Bodmin Railway - Bodmin

Facilities for wheelchair user visitors are available on the majority daytime trains, with a ramp to ease boarding from the platform. Up to two wheelchairs can be accommodated at any one time. Toilets can be found at the platform at Bodmin General Station, including a wheelchair accessible toilet and baby changing facilities. Please note that there are no toilet facilities at Boscarne Junction Station. There are also toilets at Bodmin Parkway Station

The restored Great Western Railway station at Bodmin General is the line's northern terminus and headquarters.

There is an interesting collection of locomotives undergoing restoration and home-made refreshments are available from the station buffet. Explore some of Cornwall's finest countryside from a steam-hauled branch train line.

As the train climbs the steep gradient from Bodmin Parkway to Bodmin General, watch out for the wildlife and flora which flourishes close to the tracks. Escape from the busy roads and take the train to Colesoggett Halt where a footpath leads into Cardinham Woods.
