The 15th century church of St Petrock is the largest in Cornwall and the casket with his remains lies in the south wall and has a fine Norman font.

To the northeast on Bodmin Moor, are prehistoric remains. Brown Willy stands at 1,375ft and Rough Tor, at 1,132ft are the highest points
