For disabled access please contact the Warden well in advance of visit car parking on Blakeney Hard. Wheelchairs are available at Lifeboat House, adapted to travel over sand and uneven terrain.

The Point is reached by boat from Morston or Blakeney 400ft wooden walkway is provided on the Point. Toilets at Lifeboat House (note) local boatmen will help disabled people with wheelchairs. Access is by foot over 3 miles or by boat from Morston or Blakeney.

Car park charge at both Morston & Blakeney. 3 mile sand and shingle spit, is the summer home for over 11 species of seabird, including common and sandwich tern, oystercatcher and ringed plover and about 256 other species have been spotted here. The seal colony is worth a visit and is the first nature reserve in Norfolk to be home to both Common Seals and Grey Seals.

Plant life also thrives among the sand dunes, marshlands, creeks and mudflats with over 190 species having been recorded.
