A lofty common to the south of Greenwich Park, where golf was introduced into England by James I in the early 17th century.
The Paragon is a fine Georgian crescent, and Georgian houses are also in Dartmouth Row and Nontpelier Row.
Morden College, for Poor Merchants was built by Wren in 1700 and some fine carvings by Grinling Gibbons.
