URPoint Details
All Saints Church, (Churches Conservation Trust) and Jacobean hall lie by the site of a medieval village that must have been deserted by the 15th century. Muck of the fabric of the church is medieval and the apse is a rare Romanesque survival although most of what is seen dates from 1692.
It is an endearing small building in a rustic classical design, having a west gallery, box pews, round-headed windows and clear glazing. Behind a curtained arch and with a fireplace, the south transept formerly housed a family pew reserved for the residents of the old hall.
