URPoint Details
The Berriedale Water flows here into the sea from its long valley which is partly wooded and the stream near its mouth by the Langwell Water which rises on the distant slopes of the Morven at 2,313ft.
Nearer to the village is the long ridge of Scaraben at 2,054ft.
There are only scant remains of the 14th century Berriedale Castle.
