Berkswell - Church of St John the Baptist

The Church of St John the Baptist is considered one of the finest Norman churches in the Midlands. Its pink stone is set off by an unusual timbered porch of two storeys of which the upper is the vestry. There is an unusual but beautiful 12^th century double arched crypt. There is a fine Norman chancel and the nave shows Norman work.
