URPoint Details
Thousands of acres of flat land stretching for miles in the Vale of Berkeley lies the town with a canal through the vale from Gloucester to Sharpness, a waterway which links Gloucester to the sea.
The Church of St Mary the Virgin in Church Lane is a fine church with an 18th century detached tower on the north side. All that remains of the original Norman church are the south doorway and the font.
