URPoint Details
The reservoir is located 4 miles (7 km) southwest of Eaglesham and a half-mile (1 km) west of the Ballageich Hill in East Renfrewshire.
The loch was recorded on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map (1863) as Binend Loch.
