Benington - Church of St Peter

St Peter's Church is a simple village church of the 13^th to 15^th century, with a lovely north chancel chapel, with flowing tracery in the windows and under one of its two arches is a monument with two fine portraits of a knight and his lady, dating from the 14^th century. The chancel has much-restored sedilia decorated with crocket capitals. The octagonal font and benches date from the 15^th century .
