Beer

A fishing village in a small bay once notorious for smugglers has many fine walks.
The Old Quarry a mile west of the village goes back to Roman times and was used till the 19th century.

The white stone was used for many fine buildings including Exeter Cathedral.

Beer Head is 426ft high has westernmost chalk cliffs on the Channel coast.
