URPoint Details
Just North of the Kennet in wooded country near Woolhampton is Beenham, a parish that extends to include Stocks, Beenham Hill and Beenham House, the latter a rather elegant building of the 1740's with a Georgian frontage of considerable beauty. The church is sited away from the village street, dating from the latter part of the 19th century, and replaces a much older building that was destroyed by fire. The various parts of Beenham are linked by newer bungalows and council houses and the entire community is served by the amenities of Victory Hall.
