There are special events throughout the year.

Catch a tram at Beamish and travel back in time to the early 1900s, with plenty to keep all ages occupied. Home Farm is a working farm with traditional breeds of livestock and poultry. The town with its sweet factory, shop and the brewery dray housed in the town stables, railway station and yard, fairground including a restored carousel, guided underground tours of Drift Mine, costumed staff.
