URPoint Details
This village is located on the banks of the River Ouse not far from Stony Stratford. There are many features of interest including the timber-framed house known as The Grange. Opposite is the old Grammar School founded by William Elmer in 1652. The church was heavily restored in the 1870's but still retains 14th century work. Of note within the building is a very fine monument, dated 1682, to Simon Benet.
