The hills are Roman burial grounds and well worth a visit if history is of interest to you.
The flint church of St Mary has some medieval paintings and an unusual 13th century round tower with walls six feet thick.
The Three Hills is off the Cambridge-Haverhill Rd and is well worth the visit. This attractive 15th century inn is a very gracious building with a lovely porch entrance. The interior is charming with oak beams, inglenooks and brasses. Children are catered for in the restaurant and in the lovely walled garden.
