There is an interesting limestone replica of Ichthyosaurus tenuirostris (fish like reptile) recalling fossil skeleton found here in 1851 on the B675, 4 miles east of Loughborough.
The River Soar runs through the village with its lovely little 13th century church and there are some pretty walks to be found.
