St Mary's 13th century church has a window in the vestry dating from the 16th century and there is a brass dated 1514 St Mary's church is 13th century and has a very fine window in the vestry dating from the 16th century and there is a brass dated 1514 on the chancel floor of Robert Southwell and his wife.
The church now a serves both Barham & Claydon and is now known as St Mary and St Peter.
St Mary and St Peter's Church was listed at Grade I on 9 December 1955
