URPoint Details
The Church of St Mary dominates the town and has a very impressive 14th century tower and spike steeple. Most of the interior is 14th century with 15th century screens and roof. The church built mainly of flint, although the lower part of the chancel is stone. There is a double piscina, part of which is 13th century, and a turret in the north-west section. The octagonal font on nine shafts is 13th century.
