Baldock - Church of St Mary

The Church of St Mary dominates the town and has a very impressive 14th century tower and spike steeple. Most of the interior is 14^th century with 15^th century screens and roof. The church built mainly of flint, although the lower part of the chancel is stone. There is a double piscina, part of which is 13^th century, and a turret in the north-west section. The octagonal font on nine shafts is 13^th century.
