URPoint Details
Situated at the western end of the area known as Aird of Coigach it is here that the road from Ullapool forks, with the left branch going westwards past Loch Owskeich to Achiltibuie dominated by Ben More Coigach at 2,438ft The right fork climbing by means of a revers turn on to moorland to continue its tortuous way towards Inverkirkaig and Lochinver.
From the summit there are spectacular views of the distant and isolated Sutherland peaks to the north, dominated by the long ridge of Suilven which rises to 2,399ft.
To the southeast of Loch Baddagyle is the beautiful mountain encircled Loch Lurgain on the Ullapool road.
