Altguish Inn is a lonely coaching inn on the moorland road from Garve to Ullapool.
The courtyard rooms are to the rear of the Inn and are on ground level a short walk from the main building. The rooms provide a view of the hill at the rear of the Inn and red deer are often spotted grazing in the morning.
The rooms have walk in double shower room with beds that are super king size or can be configured as twins.
There is a family room with one double bed and two single bed and the room is also equipped and accessible to people with disabilities.
By the road flows the Glascarroch River joined by other stream before flowing into Loch Garve.
To the east rises Ben Wyvis at 3,429ft and westwards are the Fannichs a grou of lofty peaks the highest if Sgurr Mor at 3,637ft
Loch Droma to the northwest sits at a height of 915ft on a desolate stretch known as the Dirrie More.
