Ashby-de-la-Zouch - Church of St Helen

The Church of St Helen preserves interesting monuments and also a finger pillory. In the Hastings chapel is buried the famous Countess of Huntingdon, the 18^th century religious revival leader who died in 1791. One of the maiden’s garlands hang in the church, once seen at the funerals of young unmarried women.
