Ashbourne - Church of St Oswald

The Church of St Oswald is in a cruciform style and has a central tower some 200ft high. The church is mainly 13^th to 15^th century, but Saxon foundation have been excavated. There is a 13^th century font, and 19^th century-stained glass. One monument is the masterpiece of Thomas Banks, of the sleeping Penelope Boothby.
