URPoint Details
The Church of St Oswald is in a cruciform style and has a central tower some 200ft high. The church is mainly 13th to 15th century, but Saxon foundation have been excavated. There is a 13th century font, and 19th century-stained glass. One monument is the masterpiece of Thomas Banks, of the sleeping Penelope Boothby.
