URPoint Details
There is a magnificent approach to the village over lonely moors from Malham into Littondale, one of the most peaceful and wooded of all the dales. The houses nestle among clumps of sycamores are built of the typical greystone of the dales.
The restored 12th century church stands by a bridge near where the Cowside Beck joins the River Skirfare. Fine old stone barns stand in fields overlooked by steep, wooded hills along the road to Litton.
