Armathwaite - Church of Christ and St Mary

The 17^th century Church of Christ and St Mary was built by Richard Skelton, lord of the manor as a Chapel of Ease. It is a small church with only a chancel and nave rebuilt in the 17^th century after falling into ruin and being used as a cattle shed.
