URPoint Details
The name is Gaelic for ‘point of the great ocean’ and the tip of the untamed peninsula is the westernmost point on the British mainland – 23 miles further west than Land’s End.
A winding road leads to a lighthouse, and 2 miles further on at Sanna Bay the sand is pure white.
