URPoint Details
Lying on the Inner Dornoch Firth there is an unusual stone built into the wall of a former inn. It is the White Stone of Kincardine which marked the annual winter market.
To the west extends Strath Carron with its river and roads along both banks which terminate at Amat Forest in a setting of lonely hills farther to the west with the extensive Diebidale and Freewater Forests in the background.
