URPoint Details
300 acres of parkland, originally landscaped by Capability Brown in 1770. Once the site of Ampthill Castle where Henry VIII imprisoned his first wife, Katherine of Aragon, during her trial and divorce in Dunstable in the 15th century.
The Katherine Cross on top of the hill was erected in the 18th century by Lord Ossory.
