Founded 1908, Dr Alister MacKenzie of Augusta National fame and Harry S Colt were responsible for this fine 18 hole course layout in first class golfing country. Built in light, sandy soil the course is always firm and dry and the turf crisp. It is a good test but not overly testing unless the wind blows.
