URPoint Details
To the east, a thin wedge of Ross projects into Sutherland.
On the shores of Loch Borralan the mountains are more than impressive with Cul Beag standing at 2,523ft and Cul Mor at 2,786ft to the west and the sharp peak of Siilven rising to 2,399ft.
Breabag stands at 2,670ft which rises to the north is part of a line of hills extending to Ben More Assynt which rises to 3,373ft Sutherland’s highest peak.
Caves on the Breabeg have yielded evidence of the Stone Age and on the tiny road to Inchnadamph there are burial cairns from the Bronze Age.
