Alford Heritage Centre

Housed in the unique auction mart building, the centre features the greatest collection of rural bygones in northeast Scotland. The exhibition is designed to give you an insight into the rural life of the ordinary working people of Donside. It tells the story6 of the ploughman and the kitchie deem, the small farm and the croft, the tradesmen and life in a small village.
There is also a room dedicated to the local poet, Charles Murray.
