Aldwincle All Saints Church, (Churches Conservation Trust)
Approached along the curved street of an attractive stone village, the pinnacled and carved 15th century tower dominates the surrounding countryside. The church has not been used for over one hundred years is in remarkably good condition. Of an earlier date, the uncluttered interior is equally impressive and its very emptiness allows a finer appreciation of the beautiful limestone arcades and arches. The chamber chantry chapel of 1489 is also of exceptional quality.
