URPoint Details
One of the prettiest villages in the county sitting on the edge of the Chilterns and standing on the brow of Moneybury Hill in a ridge of beech trees.
The views from here are spectacular.
The stocks were last used in 1835, whipping post and a duck pond around this village green, make it one of those English villages with charm of yesteryear with thatched cottages and with the tiny 300 year old black-beamed, yellow almshouses a little further on.
The timbered manor house is of the same period, has lattice windows.
