Aberystwyth Golf Club

Founded 1911, and perched above the ancient university town which doubles as the premier holiday resort of Cardigan Bay. Although close to the sea this is an 18 hole, 6109 yards, par 71 parkland course, affords wonderful panoramic views of sea and mountains. From the 17th, the town is right below your feet and you feel you could hit a drive onto the broad Edwardian promenade. The 10th has been upgraded into a challenging 520 yards par five with water all around the green, while a ditch across the fourth has added to the problems. Aberystwyth has a tough start with two long par fours, the first uphill, and has a formidable record against some highly skilled visitors. The club enjoys a good reputation for the condition of its greens.
